I'm a field research assistant solving technical challenges in the arctic and tropics.

For the past three years, I've functioned as part of a variety of teams exploring extreme environments. I've sampled water from the bottom of arctic lakes on Alaska's North Slope. I have maintained and serviced data collection electronics in the humid Puerto Rican rainforest, El Yunque. On any given day my daily tasks may be typical and mundane or a completely novel problem. Through it all, I am trusted by supervisors and coworkers to be diligent and consistent in my work.
